Welcome to the official site of the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (PWCAC-DST). I bring you greetings on the behalf of the 250 plus members dedicated and committed to providing public service to Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park the chapter’s service areas.
Throughout the past thirty years, PWCAC has continued to promote academic excellence through scholarships; mentoring to the youth, providing support to those underserved and partnering with other organizations with the same commitment to serve the community.
The major programs of PWCAC are based upon the organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
International Awareness and Involvement
Physical and Mental Health
Political Awareness and Involvement
Past and present activities include: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Oratorical Contest, Adopt-A-Highway, Senior Citizen Luncheon, feeding the homeless, food and clothing drives, Entrepreneurial Workshops, Financial Workshops and other community projects. PWCAC supports Relay for Life and the St. Jude Walk.
PWCAC theme for the next two years is “A Sisterhood that seeks every opportunity to service the unique needs of the community”. PWCAC members are dedicated to upholding the ideals of the mission of our organization which is constructive development of its members and to public service.
Members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority that are seeking a chapter to join are encouraged to attend our chapter meetings. Members of PWCAC would love to meet you. We invite you to join with us on this journey to make even more significant contributions as we continue to serve the Prince William County and surrounding communities.
