spotlight
on youth
The annual scholarship and community service awards program provide an opportunity for the sorority to be a part of students’ ability to continue their education through financial assistance. Without assistance, some students will have greater difficulty attending college and receiving a degree. The degree will allow students to have a greater opportunity to enter the workforce and become contributing members of the community. The program is an important celebration for the scholarship recipients and their families. It shines light on the students, spotlighting their achievements. The program also encourages them to continue to achieve beyond high school graduation.
economic
development
Implement programs to help the community achieve financial fortitude by setting and defining goals, developing plans to achieve them, and by putting the plans into action. The process serves as a blueprint to address all aspects of personal finances. Economic development looks at how the citizens are affected. Apart from their living standards, it also looks at the freedom they have to enjoy those living standards.
