Welcome to the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter (PWCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. website. This site was developed to give you an insight on what our illustrious sorority is about and what PWCAC is doing within Prince William County, Manassas Park and Manassas. PWCAC is one of over 900 chapters and we are a few among the 200,000+ Delta’s all working in unison dedicated to public service. As directed by our Grand Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., all of our chapters are making strides in our Five Point Program Thrust.

The PWCAC of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will keep you informed on what activities the PWCAC is involved in and how you can support our activities. We invite your comments and involvement as we strive to help our community.

 

 

It all started on December 1, 1984, the 740th chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was established. This Chapter was called the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter. In the beginning there were fifteen charter members and six chapter members. Today, Prince William County Alumnae Chapter has grown considerable in scope and complexity, without losing sight of rendering service to individuals in the community. Our past and present activities include: Adopt-A-Family, American Heart Association Walk, Entrepreneurs/Economic Development Project, Literacy Project, Dr. Martin Luther King Youth Oratorical Contest, May Week Scholarship Awards Program, Gospel Fest, The Lee Thompson Fund, Aid to local Homeless Shelters (ACT and SERVE outreach), Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, Health and Healing-Clinical Depression, Senior Citizens Banquet and the Little Miss Crimson & Cream Pageant.
