"A View of the Promised Land" 2023 Martin Luther King, Jr Youth Oratorical Program

As part of Delta’s educational emphasis, the PWCAC-DST in affiliation with the Delta Research and Educational Foundation will host the 38th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration and the 33rd annual Youth Oratorical Competition.

This free virtual event will premiere on our chapter’s YouTube Channel (PWCAC-DST-MEDIA) on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 11:00am. Six student orators in grades 6-12 will deliver inspirational speeches to address this year’s theme: “A View of the Promised Land”.  Please log on and subscribe to enjoy the program and cast your vote for your favorite student speaker.  The MLK Community Choir (students K-12) will also perform thematic musical selections for the program.
